Aquastar 38 Flybridge(2002)

Type SOLID Semi displacement, 3/4 long centre keel, These boats can take the ground if required either by having Beaching legs fitted or anongside a wall or on Blocks, which is a useful ability should you want to look at props, or hull without having to lift every time ! Dimensions LOA 11.81m/38' 9", beam 3.9m/12' 5",draft 1.07m/3' 6", displacement 9,035kg
Built 2002 by Aquastar, Guernsey to a Geoff Wilson design, she is hand laid GRP to hull and superstructure with White Gelcoats, she has teak based interior woodwork and Synthetic Teak decking fitted Engines Twin Volvo TAMD63L-A 306hp diesels with self levelling trim tabs. Shaft driven 4 bladed bronze props, reduction Hydraulic gearboxes, These nice big engines should give this boat a "lazy" 18-20 knots cruise and push up to mid twenties if conditions allow. and with Just 560 Hours run from new, They have been very lightly used so far!!
Tanks Fuel 1,360 ltr ( 300 Gallons) in two Marine alloy tanks, freshwater 454 ltr (100 Gallons ) in alloy tank, hot water 55 ltr,  waste holding tank grp, capacity unknown but approx 100lts Berths Five berths with Vee twins forward and infill to double, double dinette conversion and Single saloon conversion. Electric heads with shower.

The Smart and Functional Radar Arch in Tubular Stainless is fully hinged and drops aft if required,

six big stainless Bollard/Cleats make warp work easy.

Solid look all round, Nice Synthetic deck looks well, Decent Windlass ( Lofrans with CQR anchor and 40m recent chain with more rope tail)

Transom gate makes boarding easy, note the extended arm davits have been removed and stored by This owner as not required BUT they are included ( Electric ) there are also snap davit fittings ion aft platform,

The heavy "D" rubber fender is also fitted at the lower rubbing band, so her sides are very well protected,

Neat Generator installation 6 KVA HFL,

Could not really be better access... and note exhaust from generator exits left to splitter

Inside saloon, starboard side units, all in Satin Teak, with Teak and Holly floor,

you can just make out turn button fittings on unit top which hold the curtains in place when drawen shut, clever!

strorage box NOW aft to port, This box unit WAS forward to Starboard with helm seat on Tracks on top, But the woenr prefers a less confined helm area and is having a smart stand alone hem seat fitted ( from Aquastar) and the resultant floor top replace d with Teak and holly to match

This could VERY easily be reversed to original if you prefer !

port sette are a with pull out berth, and roll forward copilot seat bench for two. ( in photo rolled aft to join saloon seating )

Chart table has a soft protector on top, and loose nav bits box,

single Thruster control button connected to both bow and stern thrusters making life very easy indeed,

left of dash, nte the Eberspacher digital heating controls, and USB outlets under, also the remote controllers for autopilot and thrusters on shelf,

There is a smart Fish finder unit ( Not aboard at time of viewing) which sits up next to the lower Radar/plotter screen , which is included

aft end of Starboard engine, this first glimpse made me think I was n for a Treat! all VERY clean and neat, Solid Shaft brush arrangment

neat addition, there is a privacy curtain and track to include the forward cabin with door open as well as the Loo and shower door open,

but screens off from the rest of the boat and external aft glass doors.
