Type Fast Semi-displacement aft cabin cruiser, three quarter length keel. Dimensions 42'6" (12.95m) Beam 13'11" (4.24m) Draught 3'6" (1.06m) air draught (arch down) 3.3m (10'10") Displacement approx 12 Tonnes.
Built White GRP hand laid mouldings to hull and deck, to a design by Andrew Wolstenholme, Built by Broom boats at Brundall, with Maple interior woodwork. Engines Twin Yanmar 6LY-STE 350 Hp Turbo diesels driving straight shafts to Bronze four bladed props, these units will give her a maximum of around 27 Knots when conditions allow, and an easy 22 knot cruise. they have around 400 hours from new,
Tanks Fuel (S/S) 2 x 138 gallons, Water  (S/S) 1 x 100 gallons Berths 6, big double aft cabin, twin singles forward, and a conversion to dinette.

We did take many photos around the exterior but managed to loose them off camera somehow!

 she is just as a standard 42 outside, with the exception of the port door being blanked off. The first owner did not want the additional access and prefered the extra seating and stowage in the saloon. I think Broom have done three like this. As always this has pro's and cons, certainly no leaks from the door in a horrid sea is a pro..as is the extra seat inside..

History Supplied new to first owner in Lymington, sold by James Dickens on to current owner in 2004, used little (time) cruised up to Scotland on West coast, Serviced and maintained as required, she cruised back down from Scotland , has done channel Island often and has during 2009 cruised back up the west coast to the Clyde again..
Broker's Comments We supplied this boat to the current owner, and at the time out details said she was the highest spec'd Broom 42 the factory had built, not sure if that is still true, but there are very few things that you could add, and her interior is immaculate.
