WORKS BEING ATTENDED May 2011..

  •  Paint on hull above waterline, port, starboard and transom, scrape and touch up where required.
  • Soft wood has been found on the starboard forward side (sheer line) have scraped paint off for timber to dry.  Will need repair.
  • Bottom of boat looks very good, can’t find any sources of leaks, some of the spray rails have the normal fractures and loose scarf joints so will refix any necessary.
  • Varnish work e.g. toerail etc. could do with rubbing back and revarnishing.
  • Saloon cabin top soft wood on port side beside windscreen.  Will need repair.
  • Saloon cabin top is lifting port and starboard over galley and the heads windows, starboard side lifting quite badly, will need raking out, glueing and cabin top refastening.
  • Scrape back and repaint where required on saloon cabin top.
  • Aft cabin top seems OK probably because of your all over cover giving protection.
  • Cabin sides scrape back and paint where required.
  • Inside cockpit soft wood found on the port and starboard side forward on the port side of your gas locker and starboard side same position and main bulkhead.  Will need repairs.
  • Leak on port side (fire blanket in box) could well be due to the gap between the cabin side and cabin top, also could be corner of saloon window sprung
  • Anti fouling
  • The fitting of a fairlead forward port side which has broken -we have bought 2 new ones which need to be fitted  ie port and starboard.

He is also to repaint the cockpit area and anti foul the boat. The propellers will also be polished and once in the water the engines will be serviced with new filters, impellers and oil by Peter Pearce the original boat mechanic..
