Nimbus 380c(2003)

Ashore October 15th 2011 just BEFORE full cut wax and re-antifouling

Type Fast semi-displacement hull form with twin shaft drive. counter rotating four bladed bronze props. Dimensions
Built By Nimbus boats in Sweden using high grade GRP with Closed cell foam core to hull and grp to superstructure. , Teak based interior woodwork, Category B. Engines 2 x Volvo Kamd 43p 230 hp six cylinder turbo diesels, these drive through reversed gearboxes down straight shafts to four bladed bronze propellers, they should give her around 26 knots maximum and cruise her at 20. the fact they are reversed makes access to the "front" of the engine delightfully easy.. so belts, water pump impellers etc are simple it also means that to check over the engines does not involve lifting all the saloon floor but rather lifting two simple big deck hatches in the cockpit.
Tanks Berths Centreline double forward, good double to port side cabin with athwartships berth, and double conversion to dinette aft. 6 in total.

Broker's Comments Great Cruising boats, the Coupe style boats have good seakeeping and low airdraught so can explore inland as well.. The ease of access aboard via the aft platform and transom gate also make berthing up easier. you can step off either side when reversing in to berth. The opening deck hatches are nice in decent weather and can also be useful when in fog or when looking for a distant mark etc as you can get you head clean out of the roof, giving best vision, and hearing etc..
