Interior

Aft end, easy access steps either side, Life Raft in decent cradle, large fender stowage, etc

Notice the Stainless up-stand beneath outboard motor. The current owners have a clever TV Sat dish arrangement that allows for good reception even with the Astra 2 cover being weak. and a temporary dish can be afixed..

this takes a while to set up and tune but if good TV is important to you... then quite possible

stb side, This was a very clever idea,, and excellently executed by Broom. a Telescopic passarelle out of the stb side aft. the flap opens and out she comes..

this arrangement does not require the disruption to the aft seating that is usual on this model. Superb Remote Opacmare unit.

port side deck, stainless chains to side gates..

Foredeck, three opening hatches. and as usual with Broom good static ventilation..

Engine removal hatch built in..not that you want to use it, but this boat is likely to last for fifty + Years.. so one day the engines will want to come out.. it is an afternoons work on a Broom..

Anchor arrangement, controls at helm as well ( with electronic chain counter) No deck hatch, less water ingress in bad weather, note Bollard which takes load off windlass at anchor.

stb side deck, waste tank outlet, with rinse point. Stainless windows.. ( on a Broom this means the whole frame construction is in 316 stainless. with polished 316 covers,,, NO Alloy at all.

The forward section of the canopy folds up to a pouch in the Arch, but the nice thing on these boats is that you are always behind a tall glass screen..

side gates also have a moulded step tread on the air intake slots so access aboard from pontoon is possible without steps.. vents on side mouldings are to cabin/ heads below, Broom are one of the few that properly ventilate all areas of the boat. These points ( there are others around the boat,) run tubes up in a swan neck then down to a vent the adjacent cabin.

Co-pilot side, seat for two Three at a push, good chart area,  Independent Second radar screen left of shot, which is a very nice extra, the co-pilot can watch and control radar screen in bad visibility leaving the helm to concentrate on everything else..

good useful stowage under seat,

Helm to stb, electric seat, GRP cover moulding to enclose dash, note canopy s/s works, these allow the whole forward section to be folded back to the arch giving and open helm area which is great , and easy, in nice weather..( it also give the helm the ability to open and creep in thick fog in to harbour with his/her "ears/ eyes out in the fresh air" which is something I have done to aid safe navigation.

Nice simple view to electronics, all at reasonable angles, Radar (with Marpa) right, 10 " sunview plotter to left, ( two GPS systems is nice added feature, Autopilot to left of Wheel, probe forward echosounder above, note electronic controls, with DSC/VHF below. Chain counter.

Broker's Comments This 450 is quite a boat, she is VERY well equipped, clean and  smart with a lot of thought and not some small amount of electronic know how by the owner. She could do with a light polish to the exterior Gelcoat on the superstructure if I was being picky, but that could be easily addressed. She arrived back in Hythe September 8th and is being cleaned washed etc, stern gear has been polished and she is having a big wash down..
