Type Twin screw..Offshore aft cabin cruiser with fast semi-displacement hull form.. Deep Vee sections forward running to medium Vee aft, small skeg keel which helps slow speed directional stability and is intended to soften wave landings by "Introducing" the hull to the water better than a straight Vee. Built By Broom boats in Brundall using Heavy Hand laid GRP hull and superstructure with white gelcoats,, Pale Teak interior with Semi-gloss finish. Leather saloon upholstery. This boat was built as a 44 not a 450 at the owners request, he prefered the window line in the saloon., but it does have the forward canopy on a frame arrangement to enable the forward cover to fold back easilly as the new 450's. Epoxy to Hull from new... Engines 2 x 450hp Caterpillars with EDC and electronic controls. Just 525 hours run from new. Under water exhaust pods as later 450's Additional soundproofing spec from new..
Tanks Stainless steel fuel and water tanks capacity TBa but standard  also S/S holding tanks with deck and underwater disharge. Berths Double cabin aft , twin Vee berth forward, and twin cross over berths in stb side cabin.. Twin heads showers..

Interior

very smart clean boat..note the larger window areas of the port lights compared with the later 450.

Aft end. No dinghy handling, Rollaway was used on the very few occassions they wanted to take a dinghy cruising with them. Small auxillary bracket in view, larger aft hatch as later 450, note raft in cradle..

Tread master "SP" to side decks

Bruce anchor , windlass with helm controls as well..

note coachroof engine hatch if ever the need arise..

as usual with Broom, functional safe side decks with solid rails and grab rail inside..

aft of cockpit, Nylon drop leaf table, Teak deck, transom gate behind drop in cushions aft stb corner..

Great helm set to stb, sliding glass door to cabin,, note folding forward canopy frame release clips top of shot,,

bench co-pilot seat with stowage under,,, drop down Jump seat stowed on back of bench seat, great space for chart etc (electronics screens under grey removable GRP panel above cabin door..)

extra switch panel right of helm, note electronic controls.. and opening sliding side windows which was a special order.

saloon engine access hatch, folds twice, half open in photo... Note lead to heater 

port engine battery for fisher panda generator..just visible forward, In cacoon..behind ladder.

aft , battery shelf, primary filters, seacocks.. at base of bronze strainer tubes. broom bring the tops of these to above the static water level so they can with care be opened and "Rodded through" if weed blocks them with the butt of a boat hook..

aft port saloon, Leather upholstery immaculate.. book shelf over, loose coffee table has stowage within .

forward port side..( Louvered doors were £1750 Extra ...) note all electric galley

dinette stb side with nice view out... and two matching leather clad stools... Loose table has clamps to legs to hold it safe under way..

Stb saloon , solid Teak Ballistrade... Extra... steps to aft cabin, wire running to engine room heater..

Galley Avonite surfaces, fridge ajar,,, heater in place etc..infills for sinks stowed on edge right of shot.. note extractor over hob is ducted out,

generator start panel on aft face of galley bulkhead.

view forward from galley, more heaters... Big Vee berth layout forward does give good floor space.. day toilet left of shot with ensuite door also in to forward cabin, door right of shot in to twin cross over cabin.. chain locker access behind fold down mirror forward.

clever use of space,, full size berths, and big hanging locker left of shot in here.. Favourite with kids.. two big opening ports and translucent deck hatch give good light and air in here also..

Seatoilet (electric)

aft steps down to aft cabin, Domestic control panel.. 24 volt boats with some 12 volts for VHf etc.. Note key switches are to battery solenoids..240vlots top with amp draw meter..

Note two aft clear hatches,, give good light in here.. huge double berth..

and fabulous stowage. (looking forward in aft cabin)

stb side, beautiful wood work and much light from opening ports all round..

aft port quarter,

as usual with Broom, good access to stern gear under bed head... all immaculate, clean and well maintained.. all hydraulic steering system, note emergency tiller to other rudder, pilot rudder reference unit on here.. trim tab motor bottom of shot.

aft steps to cabin lift to allow some access to stb motor.. note manual bilge pump,
