Type Fast Semi-displacement, fine in the forefoot, with medium vee hull back to flat planing sections and hard chines. She has a three quarter length deep keel, which is deeper than the stern gear so offers good protection and allows the boat to take the ground if required. . Twin straight shaft Drive.. Built By Broom Boats in Brundall Norfolk . Hand laid GRP to hull and suerstructue with white gelcoats. Epoxy coating to hull from new, Natural Cherry interior with (extra) Engines 2 X 350HP Yanmar 6LY-STE six cylinder turbo diesels driving through reduction gearboxes down straight shafts, and "p" brackets to four bladed bronze propellers. These fabulous units give her around 25 + knots with 20+ cruising comfortably..
Tanks Stainless steel fuel tanks outside each engine 138 gallons each ( total 276) , stainless steel water tank aft under aft bed, 100 gallons, and stainless steel holding tank forward under floor of approx 40 gallons. Berths Wonderful double cabin aft with centreline berth, two singles forward with en-suite, and a double conversion to the dinette to port.

Interior

forward, twin vee berths, lockers over (extra) locker forward gives access to chain locker,

port side hanging locker and jacket locker, note heater outlet at floor,

stb side, second hanging locker, and en-suite door to stb heads/shower, Cherry woodwork with satin finish is beautiful. cabin door right of shot.

access locker forward willlet you get at windlass, deck fittings, and chain. in a broom you can pretty much get to all hull and deck fittings.. very useful over the boats life..

forward cabin floor gives access to bow prop, 10" tube,,, Note the underlay, which adds warmth and comfort under foot!

looking in to forward heads from forecabin, electric heads, note "Y" valve lever to choose discharge, sea or tank..

sames Heads but view in from saloon, through "day door".. mirrored lockers, note owner has had undersink locker created where there was unused space..

dinette set to port, view from saloon , Table drops to create a double with infill, note "Skysol" blinds to forward screens..

local distribution panels reduce voltage drop.. also glasses locker !

galley set to stb, extra plate locker over hob with extractor fan built in, Cork floor in place of standard carpet.

the owner sent the boat back to broom after a year or two as he decided that a better and bigger hatch in place of the usual three small access hatches would make life far easier for checks and general service access, strong gas struts take the weight.. well maintained and clean and tidy in engine space..

looking forward, nte convection heater sat in here for winter, Fisher Panda generator in cacoon, forward, 4 KVA, engine start batteries are in box (under heater)

looking aft, Seafire fire sytem, note deep keel make a good place to collect bilge water.. fuel primary just visible left of shot on aft bulkhead,

stb side, there are two central heating units on these boat, fed from the main tanks with easy access to supply tap, and pump.

looking aft down steps to aft cabin, these steps lift to give access to back end of engines,,, door left to washing machine..

used twice.. sparmeister washer drier,, with hanging space above..

good berth on centreline aft, two opening hatches flood light in here... they have insect blinds as well as black outs,,

port side, big hanging locker and extra dresser aft, door right is to shower cubicle

extra big hanging locker was ordered for stb side also, door left to heads

heads, note electric, pumps forward to holding tank or straight to sea. mirrored doors to lockers..

shower port side, extra basin fitted at factory, shower seat still perfectly useable..

aft ned access under head of bed to steering kit, hydraulic feeds etc, stainless steel tank under bed.. note red emergency tiller, superb solid simple (reliable) boat building..

ok, up to cockpit, this is a view under screen to show black non reflective surfaces fitted here extra, as well as demister slot for hot air system (left of shot,)

electronics are closed away in dash , ICS Navtex, icom VHF radio with DSC, seperate radar and clour plotter

aymarine pilot is over throttles, with phone charger base, neat, note heater outlet at feet,

cabin entry door to port, red button left of ropes is emergency STOP for the elecrtic /hydraulic arch, the clear door slide right under dash

view aft to cockpit table, note the back rests of forward facing seats ,,, these slide forward to make aft facing seats bigger, the Vinyls are very smart pale grey? off white... which does not show wear or dirt like White, and looks very good.

aft, access transom gate, liferaft in a valise under this port side seat, note emergency knife strapped to the table leg,,, ( experience on show..) ( accidently making off a warp in a dropping lock... is somethig that wants dealing with fast !

and from the outside, saves having to deal with canopy pieces to get some air underway... more experience..

aft end, note easy steps to port, stand off arms folded over rear hatches,, for dinghy when it is on snap davits, factory fitted outboard outboard stowage bracket, neat warp hanging hook fitted to rails...

good view of the removable Snap davits, and the superb non slip "Treadmaster m", life boats use it,,, tells you something..

beautifully crafted from new at the factory..

port side deck wonderful full length grab rails...

port side door, is so useful,

factory fitted extra to owners design, the side gates slide aft and drop to make boarding ladders,, very neat,

External Insect screens fitted to opening windows..

looking aft, note the many static deck vents two opening deck hatches, new screen cover stops sunfade inside..

note the shine!, and fender baskets built in forward,

aloft, stereo and VHF antennas, remote searchlight, GPS, Navtex receiver, raydome for radar, TV Antenna, canopy is new 2010..

Broker's Comments This boat is in super order and has a really comprehensive specification, the owners have learnt so much about Broom boats over the years that the extras fitted all have a use and are a real boon. I do not really think she wants for anything !
