Beneteau Antares 9.80 (2008)

Type Flybridge planing hulled cruiser with transom access gate aft. l Dimensions Loa 9.56m Beam 3.36m Draught approx 0.85m
Built By Beneteau in France using GRP to hull (navy topside stripe) and superstructure with Mahogany based high gloss interior woodwork Detail. Engines 2 x Volvo D4 225 hp each driving through reduction gearboxes and straight shafts to fourbladed bronze propellers. These Modern Electronic engines 26+ knots and cruise her at an easy 21 or so..they have just 26 Hours run from new. They were last serviced in May 2010, and have run around 2 hours since!
Tanks 640lt Fuel tank in Nylon aft, Water 220lts and 80 Lt waste tank port side,, Berths Double centreline berth forward, twin bunk cabin to stb, with conversion in saloon to dinette which make 1 adult berth.

Interior

Deck hatch over forward berth,( with sun blind) good storage under and easy access to bow prop,

Port side hanging locker, opening port hole,

stb side, another locker, and second opening port,

stb bunk cabin, the infill on top is from saloon dinette,

Heads shower to port, WC behind door, access locker aft bulkhead lets you in to various services

hot water tank, with calorifier and immersion left, battery charger right, domestic water pump and pressure vessel left, seacock is from Holding tank which is mounted just out of shot to right up high on plinth

stb side at companionway steps, all the domestic 12v and 240 v switches, also note Eberspacher heater controls bottom left,

Helm set to stb, GREAT VISION, big opening window alongside helm, smart well layed out dash. Note HD ready TV / DVD screen over, The helm seat has forward bolster which will lift to allow helm to stand at wheel

Lifted galley, again BIG opening windows, translucent panel right of shot which lets light in to heads compartment, Gas ENO hob, smart Whirlpool Microwave over with Electric grill also.  Circular lift out under kettle is gash bin, which pulls out behind storage trays under sink..very neat

light panel, also heated air outlets under screen

Sette to port, unmarked cream upholstery, folding table. Note again TALL windows and low line give great view and lots of light in saloon.

locker units to stb, Fridge forward, general stowage aft. note Laminate floor is tough and simple.

Lift out sections give good access, engineroom is immaculate ..

Looking aft, sea strainers aft, (accessible through aft hatch..)

forward bulkhead, heater, air in hoses, and fire extinguisher, note also Electronics boxes for enginesright of shot.

aft cockpit gate, note the two black sockets to right of shot, these are the two transom positions, the whole transom will slide forward to give a longer aft platform or Aft to give larger cockpit, (as photo)

detail , the exhaust exits are angled outwards at each corner, this helps stop smoke vortexing up behind the transom under way.

Big lazzerette, looking forward, note water traps to exhaust.

easy access to steering kit, Note the hull tunnels,

flyseats under covers, are like new.. as are flybridge cushions,

solid hatch over ladder up is safe..

History Bought new by her current owner who has had to make the difficult decision to sell due to Health reasons. She was very well specified from new. she had her last full engine service last May (2010) and has run just 2 hours since..! she has been lifted March 2012, has been polished, antifouled, stern gear polished,, etc so is really presented in superb order...
